Awesome, man. Many people hate on the newer generations just because it's different. I've been playing since Red and I still love the franchise. And yes, occasionally I wish to experience the same feeling from 12 years ago. But instead of whining and hating on the new games, I play them gladly without sound if I wish and put on this theme whenever I go through a route. And that's what I'll still be doing with Black 2.

Actually, it's more likely that you heard the bicycle theme much more often, which played whenever you were on a bike regardless of where you were, regardless of whether you changed areas. After you got the bike, you barely ever heard any of the route music again.
