It's not for me Iv been stuck here 7 years. Surrounded by people who collectively don't care about me, locked away from any real social life or belonging, completely desolate, trapped by this godforsaken highway that killed both my cats less than a month apart due to the regular aggressive drivers. No way to travel without thousands of dollars in vehicular equipment. Also inhabited by a dangerous anomaly

Beautiful drive. Those small towns are gorgeous. That last one with stone houses was my fave. Thank you so much for taking me along. Please take care

You were showing the slate roof, most of the slate came from quarries in Delta Pa. On the Pa and Md Line in southern York Co, Might be a place to check out. I know there are several quarries including one on Rt 139 in Md.

The Hometown Historian has filmed in Cornwall a lot. I could make Cornwall my Hometown when I go into the Witness Protection Program.

Nice calming drive. Cliff try Route 119 North to St. Marys sometime. Have been that way many times to go back to the hometown (Jamestown NY).

Hi Cliff: to my knowledge Cornwall is made up of: Cornwall, Toytown, Burd Coleman, Miners Village, and Goose Town. Some folks lump Rexmont into the mix too, but they have a separate PO. Quentin was named after Theodore Roosevelt's son. We're glad you're doing "local" videos. We've lived in Leb County almost our entire lives yet learn about "new" things watching your videos.

282 out in chester county has a lot of really interesting stuff in terms of industry that used to be there including one of the smallest churches in the world up near the intersection with marshall road.

It would be my pleasure to ride with you during the video for route 143. I could show you so many things along the way, Rt 143 goes from just below Virginville at 662 to 309 in New Tripoli. You interested?

Wow, love the colonial homes along the way and that farm when you came back to 419 on that detour was so lovely, the home and barn. Love that place! would be fun to see inside the house and the barn. This drive reminded me of Sunday drives with mom n dad when I was a kid. We'd drive from Marengo, IL up to Lake Geneva, Williams Bay and Buttons Bay, WI. Across the state line for us. Always nice, the Sunday drives. And I loved going to Monroe, WI, a nice farm community too. We'd stop at the local creamery there and mom would buy a case of butter to freeze. We'd get some yummy cheeses too. I love German Brick and Colby cheeses. My faves! yumm. 🌺🌺👍🌺🌺

It is interesting that the homes in the towns were right on the edge of the roadway. No room for front yards. Beautiful homes though. I enjoying driving through the countryside when it is raining. Gives it a fresh look. Thanks for taking a road trip.

I love all these historic old towns you show us Cliff. I've never visited Pennsylvania but all my relatives on my Dad's side were from there ( Union Township). It's interesting that all the homes are built right on the road instead of set back with a front yard for more privacy and noise control. Was there a reason for this? It's a very foreign concept to someone raised in California.
