Big thumbs up on this one. Great drone shots but with such beautiful country, it's kind of hard to mess up! I went down for Adam Sandoval's Bring It Home parade and rode around south east Oklahoma. I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Rolling hills, trees all over and lots of lakes and rivers. Are you guys going to make a detour and visit the KRiver? BTW, that's the Devil's Rope (barbed wire) and Route 66 museum in McLean. Worth checking out.

My GF and I just got back from a 1400 mile trip on my Streetglide, Gulfshores Alabama to Chattanooga Tennessee, with some side adventures along the way. We did a few legs of the trip on the super highway but I tried to get on the backroads and relax. I highly recommend Little River Canyon and the Barber Motorsports museum if y’all are ever in the Heart of Dixie. Stay safe. Keep the shiny side up!

Next time you go through Amarillo be sure to stop at the Coyote Bluff Cafe and get the “burger from hell” on an onion bun and whatever toppings you prefer along with the chili cheese fries. Highly recommend this stop and dish. I stopped there on my way out to Phoenix from Ohio and to this day I will take a vacation just to go back to Amarillo for that burger.

Probably just me, having done it more than a few times... but driving from Tucumcari to Oklahoma City or Edmond, where I've got family, no longer interests me. Driving from L.A to Tucumcari, on the other hand, is an Adventure with plenty to see. Give me some mountains over the plains, every time. You'll wear out the center tread of your rear tire riding around mostly in the midwest. I like a little scrub on the sides. Josh makes you guys look good. Think he needs something more bigger than a Softail for these monster road trips, like a full on bagger Road King at a minimum, probably a Road Glide would be better if he's gotta hang with the Big Dawgs Lance and Galen all the time filming.
@2LaneLife
@2LaneLife Жыл бұрын
The ride from LA to Tucumcari is a good one! Plenty to see along the way, that's for sure. Josh replaced his softail with a Road King about a year and a half ago and is loving it. Lots more storage, and he'll be doing an FXRP fairing in a couple weeks which has equivalent wind coverage to the road glide, but at a fraction of the weight over the front end🤙
