@@GetmeouttahereErik ​ YES we did indeed! We are in Albuquerque, New Mexico now. We took a detour to Santa Fe via HWY 14 and the view was stunning. We will leave NM tomorrow and continue the rest of our trip. Will say Hi to you (on KZbin) in AZ. : )

@@GetmeouttahereErik Hi, we are in Flagstaff now. Staying in Hotel Monte Vista. Tomorrow we will go to the Grand Canyon - staying with the "Uncer Canvas Grand Canyon" camp site. Then will head to California finally. I started to feel tired and want to get the trip done. But I know once it's over, I will miss every bit of it. Best wishes for you in Phoenix. And, Wow I just finished watching your last day to Santa Monica Pier - quite emotional even by just watching it. You did great videos. Thank you so much. We drove the gravel road from the NM/TX border to San Jon after three days of rain (west to east). About a third of the way in we hit mud, about 4” deep. Didn’t dare stop or try to turn around, just slowed down and kept going. The mud got in through the doors to the sills, thankfully it washed out in the car wash. A beautiful drive though.

Just drove past the slug bug ranch, and the bugs are gone. There's a couple other old cars there now

Note to self: take 40 when you get near the New Mexico border. That was some rough road!
