ROUTE 66 TV S2 E28 "There I Am - There I Always Am" [opening scene]

We're loafing about on a secluded beach when a beautiful woman bored with another party in a millionaire's yacht, jumps overboard to swim to shore with a bottle of champagne to get away from the same old party. After small talk with Buz, who is spear-fishing for lunch, ends up getting her foot stuck between the rocks, launching Buz into a desperate struggle to free her before the tide swamps her... while Tod is girl-watching in town.
All shot in Santa Catalina Island, CA, including the town of Avalon, off-summer. The main shots are in Little Harbor Cove, on the western side of the island. The cove is just as then (as a campground) including the rocks where Joanna Moore gets her foot stuck. As is Boy Scout Camp Cherry Valley, 7 miles to the northeast.
