These villages + PoGB border villages like Fraono, Siari, Hasanbad,haldi, chulung, khaplu and chuar etc. all are part of karakoram Himalayan range. The tall mountain valley which is seen especially in the thang & tutuk are the part of historical Chorbat valley in baltistan. Currently valley is divided between India-paxtan since 1971. The battle of Chorbat La was lead by col. Sonam wangchuk in the 1971 war. was often referred as the lion of Ladakh along with col. Chewang ripoche, courtesy of them we get back 6 villages. The next morning was a historic day for the people of all these villages. Currently 4% of baltistan is under Ladakh UT, India and 96% in Pak occupation. We will definitely get them back.
