This video presents two special cases that you can encounter when filling out the Routh Array. The first case is when there is a zero in a row with at least one non-zero element following it, and the second case is when there is an entire row of zeros. I explain how to continue filling out the Routh Array for each of these cases and provide a little insight into what they mean for the system stability.
I will be loading a new video each week and welcome suggestions for new topics. Please leave a comment or question below and I will do my best to address it. Thanks for watching!

This has been so useful. I'm finishing Controls right now at my university but my professor cant explain how to draw the bode diagram very well so your channel today has been great to review with. If you were to discuss another topic, I would recommend the root locus. That is another concept we go over but not in much detail as wanted.

Hui, I want to ask a question that at 7:34, you said, To find the powers of auxiliary polynomial, begin with the power of s that starts the row and skip every other power until you reach the end of the row. My question is that either we have to just skip every other power of s until we reach the end of row or we also have to skip every entry in between until we reach the end of row?
