numerical eg on routz criteria 0:00 how do we know after deciding the # of root of poly to be in RHP using routh criteria that remaining roots are in LHP only and not on imaginary axis ? 07:00 If 1 st routh array col has no zero entries then all remaining roots are in LHP. Also for roots of a poly with real coef they need to exit as pair of cplx conj so if there is only one remaining root hen it is in LHP. for sure. also for root to exist at origin the const coef of poly must be zero. routh'e stability criterion : for a syst with tx func of form n(s)/d(s). then syst is bibo (asymptotically)stable iff (ie n&s cond) : a) all coef of of d(s) ar non zero and of same sign b) 1 st col of routz array has all non zero entries and of same sign

Can we tell how many poles lie on the right hand side by just seeing the equation that is coefficient of any s term is zero ..?Or only we end with this system is unstable ..?
