Before you take it out put the front chassis plate. strengthening the front is a defo 2 or 3 jumps and the chassis will bend or snap had to replace the chassis once and bought the plate aswell to help

I’d strongly recommend a remote kill switch, just in case of a throttle stick issue. I also have a Q Baja. It’s loads of fun. Cheers.

Love the brand. I've got two Rovans and cannot fault them. I get told not so politely to go away from almost every location I go to due to the noise! Look out for the throttle linkages on the servo end, they can pull on the throttle body and bend the pin on the engine. I use graphite powder to lube the joint at the throttle end so it doesn't pull and bend that pin.

I’ve looked into it and in my opinion they might bend if you have the end stops set wrong, I’ve set mine up properly and it doesn’t pull on the pins at all now. As they did originally.

@chris Basically, there are two metal blocks with holes in that the brake and throttle rods travel through. The angle of the blocks cause the rods to catch on the holes, causing the mechanism to pull, regardless of the end points being correct. A guy at rc modelz suggested graphite powder over the rods at the block end to ease travel. The graphite stops the friction and doesn't attract dirt like grease does
