I pretty much agree with you on the grease thing. I don’t buy “RC-Specific” grease. Same thing with my oils for shocks. With that being said… I don’t buy the cheepy-cheapest grease off the shelf. I like using the maxima products. I have a tub of the high tack grease (which I’m pretty sure is the same as the bartalone grease) and I have whole quarts of synthetic fork oils that I use in my shocks that is just as good if not better than the “RC-stuff” best yet… I cac spend $12 for a couple of ounces of “RC specific” oil/grease… or I can spend $9 for a whole entire quart of the maxima. I think the numbers speak for themselves. This hobby does NOT have to be as expensive as some people make it out to be.

Run it rich brother. Don’t choke her out lol. I like to run it so rich on the low, my engines load up and cut out after 10-15 seconds. Have to keep revving my modded 37 to keep her running. Has a 10k clutch spring too.

Yessir! Too many people leaning these things out starving the from fuel and oil! Thanks for watching!

nice vid i agree with the term lean is mean i hate it my self in nitro or gas i always run rich sure its good to get all the power u can but in the end an engine will not last as long as it possibly can so i always run on the rich side with everything great vid man

I was thinking of getting one of these cnc quick change transmissions from rovan but was wondering if the differential that comes with/in it, is that cnc as well? Because they sell a regular alloy diff and a cnc diff.
@kgm55123 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! This comes as a complete assembly with the Red billet diff! It is very nice quality as well!
@grownman8803 жыл бұрын
@@kgm5512 Interesting, I contacted Rovan about their non red transmission and they said it doesnt come with the cnc diff. Maybe the red version comes with the cnc diff.....ill probably just order the red in hopes of the cnc diff. Thanks for the info
@kgm55123 жыл бұрын
@@grownman880 yes the plain billet case is just that a case that you use the stock internals from your plastic case.
@kgm55123 жыл бұрын
Nevermind you are talking about the 3 piece billet trans. To my knowledge it is the same as this just polished
@grownman8803 жыл бұрын
@@kgm5512 Yeah 3pc, plain quick change cnc transmission. I asked rovan about which diff is inside the plain "3pc", their response "The diff inside is the stock aluminum diff and not the cnc version. Thanks."...either you got lucky or the red version is better for the same price. Ill still try red and hope its a cnc diff like yours. Thanks for the info
