Love going back and watching these. Would love to see these with the 7x7 and 15x15 wheel mods. Like a rolling base with 15x15 wheels the players have to take down

I wish there was a wasteland rover server like this. But it was based around scavenging and scrapping. The ground would be have no special ores and be set to give you very Little Rock. But there would be random wrecks and broken vehicles spawned by the server/mods with the idea for you to get materials from scavenging for dead vehicles to scrap them.

An issues I've found with triangular wheelbases is the wheels digging into the ground during turns. As you can imagine with wheel clang, this causes some... interesting results, including rovers temporarily becoming flyers (I'd laugh, but I was doing a 72 hour challenge and that caused a flip and some damage).

I'd love to join on that and try rover only, seems so cool. I mean it's crazy how people get creative and I love it, I'm on 8th minute but damn.. Love it.. Funny is at server where I used to play with friends, I was only one building cars/rovers everyone wanted always just to fly somewhere..

Flying ships always have an advantage over rovers playing like this allows rovers to really come into there own.

I like building rovers and trucks more, and prove that theyr worth building. Especially on survival its bit easier to get that than flying ships when we played on hardcore hehe, had one rover but build attatchments to it.

I lot of vehicles don't have skirting to protect the wheels why?

For some reason on servers vs single player the hit boxes of wheels are bigger and so skirts cause collisions and can cause issues. So the server has bumped up the hitpoints of wheels to help with that.

this iteration of the server has a mod that significantly buffs the hitpoints of the wheels, so the wheels are actually far stronger than any armor you could put onto them.
