I was at this match, 12 years old and still the best game I've ever been too. the crowd was amazing, proper loud and staying after the final whistle singing our hearts out. We shall not, we shall not be moved. Flowers was amazing that day, without him and Shearer we wouldn't of won the league.

100pc agree the Newcastle games were always entertaining then. Was 12 as well watching it on Sky! One of the best games i can recall, although the 7-0 thrashing of Forest and 5-1 away comes close.

Was in the Darwen End that night never been to a game with as much riding on it even more than the Derby play off game in 1992. The atmosphere was electric and the Toon Army played their part too. The relief when the whistle went was incredible.
