Rhys can "teleport" and into the dimension where he's in hen he does so is also without oxygen and he and most of them are often described to not be breathing at some times Wich would mean he would be abel to survive long enough to enslave rowan. Sarah J Mass created aelin to be one of a kind . One female character so badass so strong so cunning that can never be compared. And rowan is just what aelin needed her equal not her weakness but her strength. Rowan finds her beautiful even when gods can't save themselves from her wrath and still found those beautiful words to console her. Rhys is greatest but having aelin as your partner is itself a huge quality.
