@hockeyguy200512 жыл бұрын
complete disrespect for a legend of wrestling. you have in front of you an icon, the man who gave his heart to millions of people even tho he was hated. so much in fact he was stabbed 3 different times all because he played a "bad guy". AND YOU CANT FIND A ROOM THAT IS PRIVATE OR AT VERY LEAST QUIET . this is your job and u fucked it up. you should be ashamed of this. piper deserves better.

This guy's shoot interviews are horrible and that is being nice. I am not one to defend Vince or Hulk but I have never seen anywhere where the two have said wrestling is fake. and for sure not on 20/20 in fact on the 20/20 piece Dr. D slaps John S. for saying it is fake and he worked for Vince. The program I saw Vince make the big announcement back in the day which was so he did not have to pay the athletic commissions was Entertainment Tonight and all he said was that it was what he coined "sports entertainment." I would sure like to see where this guy saw those two saying it was fake. The two biggest people in the business using the F word I do not think so. Vince may have exposed the business but I never have ever seen a program where he uses the F word. If there is I would loves to see it. And finally dude conduct your interviews somewhere where there are not matches going on in the other room. I just had to call you out on your facts you really need to do better research.

Ignore all of the racists and people with ADHD commenting here, who can't focus on the interview from the noise. Great interview, and the upvotes agree with me. Great questions, great answers. Honest. Respect to Piper and Nestor!

Great interview! Good questions and it seems Piper is an easy interview. I mean that he elaborates on the points he makes and it seems that you don't have to "drag" answers out of him. TRUE legend

I have to agree with TheCroatiaKid. I admire your goal with the interview, but your approach sometimes sounds disrespectful and rude. Having balls is one thing, but you can "have balls" and still have manners. I know being discourteous wasn't your intention, but it's good to get constructive criticism from others to help you along. Glad you got to interview Piper, one of the best! Good job!

So when Jake the Snake gave Steamboat a DDT on the cement floor and knocked him out cold, was fake? And the giant bump a few minutes later was fake? And when Jake's snake almost killed him was fake? But Steamboat had to save his life? And when Jake's cobra was bitting Macho Man's arm for a minute was fake? It's not all fake and some of it is very dangerous.

Piper seems like a really nice down-to-earth guy.

The question about today is simple. Today it's all about television. TV and PPV is where all the money is. Back in the day it was all about attendance and selling out buildings. They didn't have 12 PPVs a year and a leading cable rating television show every week.

No disrespect. Your interviews are great. But your lucky Roddy was in a good mood that day. Old school wrestlers tend to have bad attitudes. And Roddy has been known to get nuts. Respect to you for staying in there and asking the tuff questions.

Al Snow is another one who has pointed out that a jobber is not somebody who loses matches a lot. He was on Chael Sonnen podcast and explained the difference between a job and a carpenter after Chael had complimented him on the Brilliance of the job Squad idea. " I always explain to to steer into a problem, that was the greatest example I've ever seen. The fans were starting to call you a jobber so you put on a t-shirt that says job Squad pin me pay me, so then the company had to go, "well shit now we can't have him go out and do jobs otherwise we are admitting to the crowd that he's a jobber". Al Snow laughed and said he never even considered that but thinking about it it's very in a way. He said it started out with a joke with Jim cornette and then he explained to Chael that a Jobber was actually a guy who didn’t work for the company itself and only did it is a part time JOB for TV tapings on the weekends Etc it was just a job for them it wasn't their profession.

listen. im straight up. this is no-kayfaben which means no punches pulled. if i want to know something, i ask. if they dont like the questions then they dont have to answer. not once i disrespected them. i just have the balls to ask wat people dont. so it makes it seem that way. in order for people to understand my site and wrestling period i have to get these inside questions of the busi. so people can understand wrestling better. i want my site to b dif, and thats part of wat makes it dif. thx

Funniest thing ever said in wrestling-"Mean" Gene,"Tonight you face Haku".Piper,"Oh,God bless you".The fact that Piper says and does things that test the strength of time shows what a true legend he is and how much he will always mean to the fans and the business.

I saw Piper, and the Iron Sheik around 1980/81. Piper was wrestling Ricky Steamboat, and Iron Sheik was wrestling Ivan Koloff. Was a very small crowd, but they all put on a heck of a show. This was when Roddy played the bagpipes before the match.
