I've got this an do'm a big fan. I don't do any serious riding, but this trailer has great storage. Two little ones fit in fine and enjoy the ride. 1. To attach it to the bike, there is a coupler that you need to fit on the rear wheel. once on, there's a post that goes through to hold it in place (with a safety). 2. it moves smoothly. put 18 month old in for first time and our roads are a wee bit bumpy and no complaints at all. 3. note, i find when using it as a stroller, this is super smooth. it really moves well. the only downside, though not really considering it's primary use, you can't fit it through single doorways. having said that, the intent is to allow two kids to sit side by side comfortably when attached to a bike. So the trailer wins on that point. just some thoughts i'd like to share as I was out riding today.

Fantastic review. Thank You. We are currently in the market for one of these for our two children. This certainly looks impressive and your review has saved us the hassle of having to first find out who stocks it then have to travel a distance to look at it. Living in Brisbane, Australia i'd doubt i'd find a stockist nearby anyhow. Great concept reviewing online. Would be great if you actually conducted a "comparative review" of a few of these type of trailers?

I've had mine for about 6 months and used it as a trailer with my bike and LOVE it! Most of all my 18 mo old twins love it and is very comfortable for them. I've been using it as a jogger lately and has anyone else had problems with the from wheel? It shakes very bad when running...

Need to show the mount system to the bike. Would it fit a bike with disc rear brakes? With a quick release? Schwinn has TERRIBLE info (if it exists at all) on their website. Thanks for what you provided, just need a little more.

This review by rowdytown2 is the reason I purchased the Joy Rider 2yrs ago, so thanks! It didn't get much use last year and this year tried to use today and I just can't figure out the problem. The front wheel can NOT spin 360 degrees. It hits the bottom of the stroller. So when pushing if wheel spins backward it gets stuck. It never did this before, always worked perfect so no idea what could have happened and its driving me crazy. Schwinn website no help. Anyone have a clue? Thank you!!!

Question...i just bought a bike trailer that cost over $500 that i paid $270 for. Anyhow, I wanted the schwinn but i couldnt find it locally to fit my child in. He is four and 40inches tall. WHAT IS THE LENGTH FROM WHERE MY SONS BOTTOM IS ON THE SEAT TO THE ROOF? His head tops off at almost 22 inches. Before I use what I bought and hunt down the joyrider, can you confirm this distance for me?????please? i have spent HOURs looking at videos and reading and can not figure this out :)

The rubber tires are filled with air, which helps, but there are no shock absorbers.
