I lived here for a year when I was 13-14. Heard it was rough but never had any issues personally. I used to go to the top floor and see the sight. In a sense it was beautiful

My Dad was stationed at HMS Daedalus and we all lived in the married quarters in Snape Close, Rowner between 1974 and 1976. I was pretty young at 6 to 8 years old, but I still remember stuff! 👍🏻

I use to live on the bottom floor when the Navy had it. Lots good memories, really miss this place.

I was born in Portsmouth and lived in Gosport until I was 9. We emigrated to Canada and I've lived here since. I moved at a young and impressionable age, so that is why the accent has changed. Of course if I have a few beverages it reverts back a bit ;-)

I've been a few times enjoyed the history seeing hmv victory but I was aware there bad areas but leicesters got some bad areas and nice areas problem in society nowadays everywhere is major problems with crime I mean the city's there's nice parts as well

Does look bad but you can only blame the council all areas could be decent if you get the rough people out and decent people who are hardworking and law abiding
