Wonderful interview. I had the pleasure of viewing through a nearly identical New Moon telescope at last year's Idaho Star Party. The fellow in the next campsite was happy to share this great telescope. PS...not much dew here in the high deserts and very low Bortle numbers.

Just bought a Dob last sunday. First light a few hours ago. Never used or even saw one before my Skywatcher 10" synscan. I've, of course imaged and observed the moon over my 60 years of astro. I was blown away by the detail! Holy crap! One of my first thoughts, was putting a dew heater on the eye piece, haha.. this was quite timely😊

Thanks Ben. The only time I ever looked thru a Dob was in IL as a star party and it was a 26" and WOW unbelievable experience! Also it needed a 6-10 ft ladder to get to the EP... This brought back that memory!
