it's the greatest rap queen from Newark, New Jersey. I used to live in the academy spires. I was a young D.J from Brownsville, Brooklyn who personally know and was raised with Roxanne , Ashaunte and five bodyguards from the spires. My mother moved to east Newark in 1983 where I lost contact with my daycare and elementary friends from academy spires. The Queen is very educated also. 2018 rap and hip hop music is still in our blood and Islamic culture. Maurice Malik Muhammad say peace family.

Shante would set fire to him. Look up her battle with Busy Bee on here and listen to her destroy him. A lot of people accuse Shante of being fake because some of her later stuff was ghost-written but she was in fact a great freestyle battle rapper.

shante is a great rapper - unlike a lot of male rappers who are mumbling fools where u cannot decipher what the hell they are mumbling on about she is clear, precise and in tune with the music. excellent scratching by marley marl. remember this early 80s era very well - was fresh and exciting unlike the crap rap out there now.
