I was 14 and my brother was 12 in 1984 and it was on Power 99 FM on the Lady B's show in Philadelphia on Sunday (Metal was on Saturday night on 94.1 on WYSP). She played all the old school rap we all know and love on her show. My brother still has the tape when this premiered. Just didn't hear rap or metal everyday on the radio like now. I'm glad that I grew up in the 1980s. Good times, good times.
