William Afton is kind of weird in that he's been split into several different characters with different names, and to be honest, he's rather cold but I don't feel like he's actually that bad. Like, compare him to Glitchtrap who was often horrible to his friend, or compare him to how Creator treats his "creations" EDIT: guys, please remember that these characters don't exactly follow game canon and the characters have even said it themselves that they aren't possessed by ghost children, so that's already a huge deviation from the game's story. Maybe Afton is that bad here in these shows, but it hasn't really been shown or proven or anything like that. If anything Glitchtrap and Springtrap are separate, though somehow still connected, characters and the ones who've off handedly or directly mentioned murder. Afton hasn't done that just yet.

In the games yeah, but these shows have told us the events in those games aren't real. So I don't know how much of this William Afton is going to take after the game version. After all SpringTrap from the SpringTrap and SpringBonnie show is another version of Afton and is very British. And we know canonically that Afton isn't British. Maybe this version really is as bad as all that, but we haven't seen or heard it yet. Don't forget, these shows do take artistic liberties to change some things cuz I don't remember Golden Freddy being an all powerful wizard-god being with magic powers in any of the FNAF games nor did Glamrock Freddy and Roxanne Wolf have a high school teenage life. And these animatronics in these shows aren't possessed by any dead children's ghost. So there is a lot that does not stick to game canon here.

However it seems this time mimic was just posing as William afton, so who knows if it's been the real afton who interacted with circus baby or the mimic all along. Oh and course, THE MIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMIIICCC!!

@@MrOrcshaman It is weird that all these characters are different iterations of Afton but are somehow still their own character. And you might be right, maybe this Afton is really horrible and we just don't know it yet. Sometimes it takes time to learn what kind of character it really is, like everyone thought the trash can head guy was just some harmless crazy guy and it turns out he's not crazy and he's working for an evil scientist type character who turned himself into a living brain. We just need to see more of William Afton to know for sure. And yes, the Mimic fooled me--I really thought William Afton rushed over to help the kids because Circus Baby asked him to--he got me good! 😆I was fooled by THE MIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMIIICCC!!

8:21 I sense some motherly vibes. I think thats the connection gregory is talking about. Maybe, Vanessa is Gregory's mom!! And maybe when the Glitchtrap virus broke out and attacked Vanessa she lost her memories especially when Vanny took over. As for Gregory my guess is either the virus also tried to take over him and failed but it caused him to lose his memory in the process. I think this bc if we think about it gregory doesnt know who is birth parents are. Which means either he lived on the streets his whole life or he lost his memories. In fact, it could've been a take your child to work day thing but little did vanessa or gregory know that the Glitchtrap virus would try to take over their minds. This would cause them both to lose their memories. Vanessa would be controled by the virus and turn into Vanny. As for Gregory, being stripped of his memories. Found himself lost and confused in the pizza plex. Paranoid and scared of how he got there in the first place he crawls into Freddy's stomach hatch hoping for a place to hide. Which would bring us to the start of the game.
