i dont care how many instruments that guy Neil can play, theres nothing better than listening Marie and Per voices, im a roxette fan since i was twelve , it has been twenty years , im 32 and i still love them, even their solo carers .

I think she nailed it in terms of emotion. A lot of artists who cover this really don't put the right feeling into it, and it doesn't sound the way it should. Good cover.

Neils version is awesome and a hard line drawn however in this one Marie gives me the shivers, she puts her soul into it. Read about her and you will see the pain she brings to it. Excellent song well presented.

Great Song. Don't listen to these guys who are used to canned music sung one way. You can't go wrong with that song. And I grew up with live bands singing everyones music in open venues. I like it.

I personally prefer the original, but I think that this is an admirable cover. And while Neil has soul and is inspirational, I think that it takes soul and understanding of the song to attempt to cover it. So props to Roxette as well!

I don't find many people sing this well because Neil's soul is in it when he sings. No one else understands the song like he does. Neil's a legend of the music world and has inspired many, but unfortunately I think the bands that are covering this aren't feeling what Neil has wrote. Such a shame.

It's true that Marie sounds somehow emotionless in the unplugged concert, dunno why. Cover versions are always problematic, most people compare them to the original and say it's rubbish... But Marie is definitely not an amateur singer. I doubt anyone could sing songs like So Far Away or Listen To Your Heart the way she did it.

Somehow i agree with you; i meant, she can sing! that´s clear, but, generally i don´t like covers of anything too much; but this one is good - maybe she could use more emotions. But if you see the whole Unplugged, imo she sings all songs(maybe except INLTM(TWTILY))in same way, nothing too much emotional. But good, i love to watch Unplugged;(and play it with them :))

For a start this version is sang by a woman, so straight away it's going to have detractors, even more so if comes from a pop group like Roxette. However, she delivers a perfect performance, not tecnically but emotionally. And as hard as I find this to say, and as much as I love J. Cash, this version is better and more devoted to the original. Neil Young's original version will always be the best performance of this timeless song, but I must say this one keeps more to Young's style than both Nelson and Cash whose performances (despite due credit given to both those artists) simply sound wrong in my opinion.
