I get a feeling that she disliked these kind of gimmicky appearances. Even in some Swedish interviews she looked very uncomfortable. It's such a contrast to her lively stage persona, but she really was a private person. Even in her biography she told the story of her life, but not the story of WHO she really was. Yes, she mentioned being very lonely before meeting her husband, but she never got into detail with anything except a few things that I think everyone knew already, at least in Sweden. It's rare to have such integrity when you're a world famous person, but Marie sure had it. It made her most special and I admire her for it.

@@mybiz2167 On the other hand, I appreciated when she opened herself a little bit, because those few stories she told helped me to better understand the real depth of some of her songs. And also, when she felt more relaxed in some interviews, you could experience the other Marie, who could also laugh, make fun and be not as serious as usual. It's a pity she didn't open herself in this way more often.
