Such a great interview with such a humble down to earth star. One of the best interviews I've seen I think, really personal. Ive had a few interactions with Per now, from him replying to comments on the Roxette Facebook page, and then he shared my song and music video on it, when they arrived in Auckland, and I got to review their concert with the Daily Roxette fan club and even met their guitarist Christoffer in the street after and then I ended up in his music video "Name You Beaut", which was made from fan submissions, and had a table tennis theme as it was the theme song for the World Cup in Halmstadt. Their music followed me around South America at very poignant times and right before Marie passed, when I was in Santiago. It was uncanny. Soundtrack of my life really.

When I first heard the song ^dangerous^ in the radio in 1989 the sound had a full impact on my neurons. The details that the song hides, the vocal harmonies, that bridge, that power chorus... The natural quality of Marie's voice is often talked about, but, and I am very sorry to contradict Per's father, the way in which Per uses his voice complements a pop song perfectly. It's a question of textures. I remember when MY father heard ^how do you do^, he couldn't get out of his astonishment. He looked at Per almost as a genius on par with Albert Einstein. He had a poster of Roxette in his room till he goes with 85 years old. But the most surprising thing about this band has nothing to do with their talents or with the way in which they combined their talents. I think that here all of us who love their music will unanimously agree: the most surprising thing is their humility. Per with all his projects and yet generously providing an hour-long interview. The dedication and generosity, in addition to the wonderful music. This is something that we all sense from day 1, even trough their music.
