Even the vocable na na na na is better than some of the rap crap today. Marie had that 'X plus' talent that is rare today. It is audience authority.

Marie, you are gone. Everyone will miss you. Life goes on, unfortunately, unfairly, without you. But the memories of this pair of supremely talented individuals will be in the heart's of those of us who are left behind. Per with the mad spikey hair, and you Marie, with that wonderful voice and amazing platinum blonde hair. Unfortunately, all we have now is memories, but thanks to you and Per, so many wonderful memories. I know we will never meet, unfortunately, but I do want to say thank you for everything, and I wish nothing but happiness and joy for your family and Per, and anyone else who was touched by your wonderful personality. RIP MARIE FREDRICKSON.

Young ppl under 30 have no idea of the music of the 60s. They were the real music heroes. And gorgeous looking too. Since that time, there just hasn't been any real musical talent anywhere. If this pair are what you think were ssupremely talented, then you haven't seen anything at all. Only the 60s had the real deal going musicwise and fashionwise. Ppl were truly glamorous back then. And when I see what's out there for quite many years now, I'd rather not even look. Dirty, scungy, mangy looking youths. Fashion and style have died out decades ago. And don't even start me on tattoos.

Lately I've been revisiting Roxette songs and I realize 30 years later just how good they were. However I'm struck watching this performance thinking what Marie Frederikson was going through, a very courageous woman, beautiful voice, beautiful and very sorroewly missed. Per Gessel is much more talented than I thought, should have given it more appreciation in the 90s, but hey it's never too late.

The truth is that in earlier years, Marie played the first violin on stage, she had better contact with the audience. Per was more behind. When the disease came, Marie wasn't able to go crazy on stage like she used to, but Per had to take over the role of the frontman and he managed it. We got to know a different face of the musician. I believe that Per and Marie complemented each other perfectly and in difficult moments their friendship helped to overcome everything bad.

I don't agree here. Marie hardly moved. She looked so ill like she left her death bed for one more show. Per didn't turn out nicely dressed like in his early videos either. As for Marie's dress style: she never had any style. Her clothes were of particularly bad taste as was her hair. She never looked attractive. She was a tom boy. Never looked pretty.

Bas, have you never heard if Cheap Trick or Chicago? I personally love the music of the 60s. No one can hold a candle to that era of music. It's the 60s songs you never hear played these days. There were millions of beautiful songs and music back then. I'd be looking into that. The 60s had Procol Harum, Manfred Mann, a guy called Barry Ryan singing Eloise, also song called Tighter, not the one online, not available. Marianne Faithful was good too. Just so many other than the most famous. My point is, the talent was massive, so many to choose from. Not for a long time now bcz of non talents these days. I still listen to Marianne Faithful and The Hollies.
