What makes the "purity" of 80's music that much greater than, say, the 90's? Truthfully, whatever era you grew up with will be what you find to be most magic and special. You'd have people saying the exact same thing about the 50's, 60's, 70's, 90's, 00's ect.

I’m 31, and feel like I got a taste of living in the 80s because of my mom and dad, and my uncle. I’d give anything to have been lucky enough to grow up the way they did. Life truly was different in the 80s and 90s. There was such a magic and hope to everything. It’s like people have just given up caring about anything in today’s world, no matter what area of life. No one’s saying it was perfect, but you can hear in songs like this that little gleam of excitement for life.

I was 10 years old when this song blew up. And boy did it. This song should be the first definition behind 'staying power' because it's immediately catchy and infectious the more times you listen to it. It's one of those songs that when it comes on, you leave your radio on the station until it's over. Absolutely wonderful song!

its one of those song that even though it just turned on and you've pulled into your driveway, or the parking space at work, you stay just to listen it out

The guitar work in this song is absolutely impeccable is why. Its just an incredible riff and that tone just cuts through. Im a metal nut as well but love me excellent pop-rock.

Toto Cutugno - L'italiano(1983),Kim Wilde - You Keep Me Hangin' On(1986),Ray Parker Jr. - Ghostbusters(1984),Arabesque - Midnight Dancer(1980),Sabrina - Boys(1987),Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry,Be Happy(1988),Opus - Live Is Life(1985),Ottawan - Hands Up(1981) и так далее.Все эти перечисленные мной песни являются Величайшими Шедеврами.И я тоже считаю,что песни 80-х годов НАМНОГО лучше новой музыки.Тем более то,что я выросла на многих песнях 80-х годов.

I've lived through the 50's ,60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, '00's, teen's and more. The 80's was the most fun, innovative music. I listen to everything but when I want to feel really good I turn to the 80's...

@@ayadav77 I was an 80s teen and it was fun and so varied. But the 60s were truly innovative. Society and music really started to change. They weren’t following, they were leading. Really broke away from their parents in so many ways. I know there were early innovators before them, but it seems the 60s really pushed ahead.
