I was 10 years old when this song blew up. And boy did it. This song should be the first definition behind 'staying power' because it's immediately catchy and infectious the more times you listen to it. It's one of those songs that when it comes on, you leave your radio on the station until it's over. Absolutely wonderful song!

The guitar work in this song is absolutely impeccable is why. Its just an incredible riff and that tone just cuts through. Im a metal nut as well but love me excellent pop-rock.

@@ayadav77 I was an 80s teen and it was fun and so varied. But the 60s were truly innovative. Society and music really started to change. They weren’t following, they were leading. Really broke away from their parents in so many ways. I know there were early innovators before them, but it seems the 60s really pushed ahead.

I'm so proud that Roxette was part of my teenage years, they changed my life, and fell deeply in love with their music, moreover Joyride is the one that saved my life. I was thinking wrong, wanted to commit suicide but Joyride came into my life, and saved me with their words, the music.
