+Robin Lynn I remember watching it a long time ago. I remember making my own little star racers out of legos. I even made one that was supposed to be the W-ARROW-2. I just never could remember the name of the show until I watched Akidearest do a video about the top 5 shows that aren't really animes. It wasn't one of them but she mentioned it and showed a little clip of it and a flood of nostalgia just came over me and I just had to look it up so I could finally see how it ends. I also find this song really mellow. Like it's just a song made for nostalgia. lol

+Robin Lynn I used to watch it with my mom when I was like 12 or so XD That and Avatar: The Last Airbender. We were sooo hooked on both shows... eventually I was able to watch Avatar again but I forgot about Oban until very recently, and am now watching it all over again and having a great time. If anyone is interested, you can watch the whole show on KissAnime (english dub and pretty decent quality) so yeah ^^

Back then I was like, BARELY any good at internet, trying to find a full version of this.. trying kazaa and such.. couldnt find it ANYWHERE. a friend of mine finally found it in some form, possibly even early youtube, but i was unable to get the actual audio file. He knew a way using Audacity to record from your own speakers output, but it had to be done in real time so it was kind of a pain to have him do for me.. and now.. i can just find five versions of it on youtube easily. but I still have to jump through weird hoops if i want the audio file.. so many different weird hoops available.. and of course if certain people get what they want, it'll be impossible to find again, in the name of protecting the rights of the people that own the show.. even though those rights don't assist them in actually RELEASING the song or probably the show in any way, or their lawyers would tear them apart, at least often, if not in this specific instance.

For us, Russians, it's a normal thing to listen to a songs we don't understand a word of. A Russian can listen to certain english songs every day, but still not understanding a word of them and even mispronounce words when they sing a long. There was a song "Venus" by "Shocking Blue" which had lyrics "She's got it" and it became known in Russia as "Shizgara", because that's what we heard.

Nikstarr I used to watch this show on Jetix, 10:30pm block, in my grandparents bedroom nearly a decade ago now. I lived in a really volatile home environment for as long as I could remember, and watching T.V between my gram and gramps was one of the few nice things I’d gladly relive from that time. My grandmother recently passed away last year and with that, came waves of grief and longing and confusion. The past month has been especially hard. I’d given up on experiencing life and wanted nothing more than to wade along till I met her again. Hearing this song, however, acted as a reminder that those years have past. That it’s time to say goodbye.. It doesn’t make facing the music any easier; I guess, just a little less lonely.

Even though its not in English, it helps to still feel the emotions behind the song. Molly grew up without her mother and her father was absent for most of her life. She's self reflecting and remembering the good times when they were happier and life was brighter. However, she is not held back by the past and says 'Goodbye Yesterday' and looks forward to her future. The song really does have a deeper meaning when you are older and look back at childhood just like she did. It was a special gem that i was glad to experience back then

I finally searched for the name for this show. I was like 7 years old when I watched this and I couldn't understand anything and all i cared about was the action and that ending song. After that I completely forgot about this show even though i loved it so much and now I finally found it again! The reason I remembered this show was because I had this song and the racing type of genre stuck on to my head and only with this small clue it took me like an hour to find it. First I gave up hope but still tried to search it and went more deeper on the internet then i heard that ending song and I was like, oh my god I finally found you!
