The humidifier illusion actually comes from how the light is pulsating. We don't see it pulsating with the naked eye but the special "frequency" makes it seem like water droplets move up from the bottom :)

I don't think there was anything wrong with the humidifier. It was just trying to fill up the top because the water started at the bottom so it had to travel up.

The humidifier I believe works with frequencies. Certain frequencies make waterflows go funny sometimes.
