Taja's next single, Wouldn't You Love To Love Me?, despite Prince writing, would not chart in the US and missed the Top 40 in the UK altogether. That said, Love Is Contagious was not a big hit in the US, where it reached No 62. (In the UK, it reached the Top 10). Her self titled debut album reached No.48 in the UK but failed to chart at all in the US.

I remember Taja on this show there were high hopes at the time she would be as big as Whitney, so shocking she disappeared never to be heard of again after Love Is Contagious
