I just went back to relaxed and short from natural! It’s so good to still be able to find relaxed hair vids.

Thank you for this video. This is definitely soooooo realistic especially when it comes to working out with a pixie. Your routine pretty much resembles mine. Recently though, I've started washing and molding my hair post gym. Just to get rid of the sweat on my hair. ❤ your videos!!

Thank you for this! I’ve been struggling with how to maintain my pixie day to day. All the videos on maintaining pixies are on wash days or refreshing the relaxer. Is it ok to use styling foam everyday to dry mold?
@raunij79673 жыл бұрын
Girl yes I do because it’s not heat but keep moister.
@AmbitiousKells3 жыл бұрын
@@raunij7967 Ok thanks. Yeah, heat on my hair everyday is a no go for me so I’ve been dry molding but worried that I may be drying out my hair with the foam.
@Hwkgrl163 жыл бұрын
Kellie L I used a moisturizer daily to mold and maintain my pixie cut as well. I did not use a lot of heat just wore it molded most of the time. I'm letting my hair grow and it just above my shoulders now.

I recently cut my hair in a pixie style on Mother’s Day , after 4 years of being natural. Was almost regretting cutting my hair after thinking that it’s so high maintenance , but oh my this video is what I was missing..
@vaudelitagriffin58343 жыл бұрын
Good job. Do all that heat give you breakage. If i recurl my hear every other day it breaks off
@Hwkgrl163 жыл бұрын
Mine does too. I'm letting my pixie grow out so it's longer now. I'm working on not putting heat on it because I'm going to refresh my relaxer in 2wks.

I can't sleep with my head wrapped in all that satin I sweat in my head so my hair would be a wet mess in the morning. I use a satin pillow case only and it does ok. I sleep hard

@oneinamillion84173 жыл бұрын
Your hair may not be moisturized enough..try a moisturizer and use a silk scarf...or you could be using too much heat? Vitamins also help
@blanchelee56803 жыл бұрын
@@oneinamillion8417 thank you. Can you suggest a vitamin
@876me73 жыл бұрын
You probably need a protein treatment. Protein strengthens the hair and prevents breakage buy it can be drying depending on the product so follow up with a good moisturizer if you do a protein treatment.

Your pixie ONLY lasts you TWO DAYS?! Smh! My pixie lasts me for TWO WEEKS-- and I just relaxed my hair last week after washing it this pass Tuesday. To continually wash it every two days, literally, would be overloading it: too many chemicals and after while MAJOR harm to the scalp. Our scalp doesn't yield it's natural oils until in about two days.And I understand some people sweat in their scalp but it can still be maintained with a satin scarf . . .every two days is too much.
@ashleya39963 жыл бұрын
My pixie will last me about 2 weeks as well!
@bestinterests69293 жыл бұрын
Hi Tuesdai. I will be making sure mine last two weeks too. Just mold sometimes and tussle with fingers and go. Not ironing everytime works too.
@oneinamillion84173 жыл бұрын
Two weeks is a long time to upkeep a pixie w/o a wash-even if you don’t sweat and sleep perfectly. I say a wash once a week is fine.
@AmbitiousKells3 жыл бұрын
How do you maintain for so long day to day?After sleep and showering everyday you don’t lose your mold? I mention showering because I wash my face in the shower which usually causes my edges/sides to get wet and lose my mold or curls
@tuesdainoelle15713 жыл бұрын
@@AmbitiousKells Hi. For the shower, I keep two hair wraps on with a satin scarf along with the shower cap and repeat the same (minus the shower cap. This way, both times, the moisture isn't taken away or extra added onto my hair. I also don't curl my hair but once (from the first mold) and only out very light grease on the hair should the hair look dull or dry (not on the scalp.).
