Oh Becca! This pouch actually brought me to tears! I have always had that experience with art that speaks to my soul! In this case, the pouch is stunning and I love all the fabrics and laces! But it is what is OF YOUR SOUL, that is in every single choice & stitch, that really moves me!! The fact that YOU love it so much...that you surprised yourself with the outcome of doing something you've never done before..the obedience you showed as you took direction from the piece as it developed into an individual, unique, and living object of art...and that WE got to know this is all part of the piece, as you introduced her to us...that is all part of what moved me to tears!! That is so pretty. ❤ I love how you folded over the lining to make a clean edge. I use the blanket stitch to close everything, 😂, but I'm going to try that on my next project because it added so much to your pouch.
