Great minds think alike, I am building mine in a box, so they fold out and have that same fairy material. I was thinking of using on the front of the box. Love those little fairies and have used them making journals.😊 but then I changed my mind a million times before starting down the garden path, that ended up being a year long project totally hand embroidered. I am sure this one will also not be done in Dec., as I will do all 12 months of Colorado's field of notes! Will be looking to see what path you end up taking.❤

Beautiful, love your work! Distressink will always be reactive with water, but if it will run it wil gif it a more vintage look. If you don't want that, you better use a permanent ink.
@willowhilldesigns76 ай бұрын
@@mireillebaan Thank you very much; and thank you for that information! I thought it might run as it’s water soluble. Hopefully it won’t get wet; but if it does it will just add to the vintage look, as I’ve put so little on the edges. Maybe inktense sticks with fabric medium for a permanent color. I’ll have to experiment 😊
@mireillebaan6 ай бұрын
@willowhilldesigns7 experiments are part of the fun. And a field note can have some vintage smudges. Also be carefull with sweatinghands that you don't get stains on your hands and transfer them. But no matter what the journal will be lovely. Thank you for showing your progress.
