Roy Ayers is one of the most influential artistic performers that I first truly paid attention to that got me loving music. Thank you so much. I so appreciate him so much. He may not remember I vaguely remember myself the whole details. But I did have the opportunity to sing a solo song with him on piano when I was high school. I truly enjoyed coming across this video.

first time i saw Roy in 1975 - the late Ricky Lawson of Detroit, was his drummer. Rick would go onto play with Michael Jackson, Steely Dan and more. He died about ten years ago, actually, Dec. 23, 2013. Gone Way Too Soon. Roy Ayers is STILL GREAT. T.C.
