I remember seeing this in 94 and was wondering if I would ever see it again. In car cams weren’t used much back then and I was fascinated by the footage. I probably rewound and played that crash fifty times. Thanks for the upload.

Roy was an A #1 dude. I'd been a 7.20 190 in 1997 with a power glide and nitrous engine. I asked Roy later that year at Sonoma, CA during the pro truck exhibition (I worked on Alderman and Geoffrions Mopar Trucks) how hard it would be to drive a Lenco car. Roy told me I could teach him about as much about driving a glide car as he could me a Lenco car!

Roy Hill will be at the Ridgely Car Show in Ridgely, MD on Sept. 19th. Bring the car out, it would be awesome to see. Richard Petty, Linda Vaughn and many other celebrities will be there too.

@@imwhisprr253 HE DIDNT PULL THE CHUTE..Thats rather easy to understand....Chutes will slow the car down and straighten it out sometimes. ANYTIME you get out of shape the bad, PULL THE CHUTE.

@@bluesky-ud9wg he was tryin to win at that point he was at maybe the 1000ft mark he tried to stay in it and he payed for it he didn’t need to pull the chutes he could have just let off the gas
