I was 7 years old when this interview was made.. I remember him most in the movie Jaws, and the series SeaQuest.. sadly he was gone 13 yrs ago.. 😔

Roy's description of his temper is corroborated in The Jaws Log by Carl Gottlieb. He describes Scheider as the guy who while everyone else was losing their marbles just wouldn't blow... until he did. And then it took Spielberg hours to talk him down.

Roy will always be "Martin Brody" from Jaws and Jaws 2 in my eyes! I must admit i havnt seen any of his other movies which I'm sure he was equally as great in!

My favorites... French Connection, Marathon Man, Blue Thunder. Have not yet seen All That Jazz but that might be his best.

It´s quite usual to record the interviewer´s reaction separately. That doesn´t mean that she didn´t really think that it was a good interview like she said at the end.
