Just as useful as trying to find an API client in a js framework for hypermedia.

Check out his dissertation though. It's surprisingly readable.

Talking about REST not mentioned at all 😂... I came across this video a few days ago, it explains very straightforwardly what a REST API is and interestingly I ended up looking at the dissertation and other related documentation, and... Identifying that most people thinking they have a REST API but actually they mostly don't. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqemZYuqadykis0&ab_channel=AmichaiMantinband

Professor very seriously looked at us: "Don't worry about what you put a dissertation, nobody's gonna read it anyways. I might because I'm on your committee but don't worry about it, there's no one outside the committee is ever going to read this thing just get it done and go on."

Yep, and now, 20 years from publication, a Ukrainian dev tries to understand his terse writing. The only dissertation I've ever read, lol

@@danyfedorov3029 The problem is that when you understand REST, you realize that it's useless in the modern sense and all your API is actually RPCs, but there is nothing you can do with it, lol
