Duke UNC basketball sometimes three battles a season! I would agree on it being the top football rivalry but not overall

Brad Lewis unless you have a brick thrown at your car rental by your rivals fan. Then fight you after words. Which I highly doubt. That one game means everything. Not 2 games with a possibility of a 3rd. Plus, have one game to determine the conference & national championship. Basketball doesn’t do that. Y’all can go 1-1 during the regular season and not affect anyone’s playoff abilities or rankings. Also, UNC & Duke fanbase isn’t as large compared to OSU’s/Mich. Its a huge instate rivalry for sure & deserves some national recognition.

OSU Michigan is an older rivalry, but nothing is as good as UNC vs Duke. 8 Miles apart, one of the top public institutions vs one of the top private institutions. In the past 36 years, they have accounted for 10 national championships in basketball. The past 92 or so meetings, they are an even 46-46 with less than 10 total points difference. OSU and Michigan is good, but it's not even close to UNC vs Duke.
