Bizarre... I love Mr Wood but this (admittedly circa late 1980’s) is like the Monty python flute lesson... “blow in here then but your fingers over the holes”! Nice to hear him speak tho... wonder what they were actually trying to do?

That's funny and very true. I like it as an artifact of his talent and I do think he comes across as a fairly presenter too. Just that you won't really learn much, except that Roy can do everything in the studio alone. :)

Decades before Monty Python there was a jazz song in similar vein called The Music Goes Round And Around, about playing a trumpet. Maybe Roy had heard it somewhere years before.
