Do you know what's sad about all of this? No one asked any of us for our opinions on the beard, but people seem to want to share them. No one reflects on the message they're sending. They have seized yet another opportunity to try to shred the Wales family who don't even know this channel exists. God forbid if they want to just slum around town. Princes Philip, Charles, William and Andrew grew beards when they did military service with the Royal Navy. Only in the last year have beards been allowed in the British army. After Harry retired from the army he grew a beard and he was given a special dispensation, by the Queen, to keep it while wearing Army uniform at his wedding and some other events.

The Royal Navy was the only service until recently that permitted beards, had to be full beards with no bald areas or fancy styling. Personally I've had one for over 50 years, now completely silver.
