Sweating can happen in tournaments as mission packs tend to omit kill based objectives. So, the warband building tend to skew towards movement and objective control (easily solved if equal ammounts of each mission are used). Another youtuber called "The Salty Sea" (I promise it's not a gay sailors club) has great breakdowns on Warcry Meta and unit comparisons if you're ever interested in learning more.

I hear people say it's the best system, but the balance feels really wonky from what I've seen in bat reps. It often seems like the game is decided before it even begins by the objective. It is their best skirmish game system though. (I'd argue KT isn't truly a skirmish game due to game duration and rule complexity, but I love it all the same).

Would you guys consider trying One Page Rules? i think it would fit your fun talkative playstyle a lot, and i has really great skirmish format with different rulesets for special misions inside space ships etc.

I love the "good guys" or forces or "order" and "light" in most games I play. But for wargaming, I always like playing the opposite. I think because there's literally no explanation needed why they would fight amongst themselves or their allies. A lot harder to decide why an Ultramarine army is fighting a Salamander army.
