Yeah, on the album they made it very QOTSA like. I mean, it's cool too, but it's nothing against the classic raw and thick fuzzed out usual tones we get from Royal Blood like on the live versions.

I know we tend to focus on the bass when it comes to Royal Blood, but damn, Mike has one hell of a voice. His control over it gets tighter with every album, too. It sounds even better in the live versions. I could do without the full minute of incessantly flashing lights, though.

Yeah, he always had an interesting voice, but he's turning into a true vocalist. Mike keeps growing in vocals, which is amazing after this many albums under his belt, and Ben keeps making incredibly sick rhythms. These guys are unstoppable, because they haven't hit their apex yet. They are confusing to me, because they never release an album with any bad songs on it. That's crazy. Even Alice in Chains and Soundgarden have some duds in there. Every album can't be 'Dirt', but they easily smash out a new album with zero filler.
