Hi, I do really enjoy your video work and all your training stuffs. I have a question, when you enroll to naval RESERVE as a Naval Warfare Officer you receive the officer rank and uniform From the first day at your basic training? Or only after you finish the 5weeks basic officer training course ? Thank you

As a Naval Warfare Officer you will enrol at the rank of Naval Cadet (NCdt). You will receive your commission after completing Basic Military Qualification and Occupational Training. You will receive your uniform before/during Basic Training in order to wear it during the training (on occasion you may not have it on the first day but relatively soon after).

Wow this is really cool & amazing! Can’t wait to start my BMQ. I’ve signed up for HMCS Carleton ( Ottawa). I’ve been working out daily and also started practicing pistol shooting & swimming ( as a civvy).
