I was really iffy about Mexican and Caribbean Nights. But I've found that I would like to try the corn cakes, enchiladas, carne asada and maybe even the tofu tacos. The pork chop and grilled eggplant looked very good. And you know what, I can alway fall back on the Indian dish of the night. Can't go wrong. Thank you for showing us what it looks like and commenting on the taste. Looking forward to the next one. 😊

🫤 Hmm… Once again, fabulous video. Can’t say I’m terribly excited about any of the offerings here. May need to “buffet it” on both those nights. I have a reservation at 150 Central Park on my cruise in April. I’m looking forward to that. I just hate spending extra money above my cruise fare for food, but we’ll see!

You sure can! Just let the server know and they'll to-go it for you. You can take food from the buffet or other eateries to your cabin as well.

Desserts are great when you eat them with some bitter strong coffee to cut the tarti sweetness of the dessert. I always have them with Italian coffee espresso.😊

Indian food is very good on the ship better than on land. There was one time my waiter brought me an Indian dish that was not on their menu and I was told that this is what thev staff eat. It was absolutely delicious

I've read that the Indian food tends to come out hotter and more 'freshly plated' b/c it's not ordered that much, so I guess it is kept on a 'simmer' and plated as needed. It tends to be solid, reliable, and pretty filling regardless of cruise line.

How does the food compare to Celebrity? It seems more flavoursome. I find American food quite bland....even though I'm a Brit!😆 We LOVE spice

Celebrity has slightly better quality in terms of ingredients & presentation, but this was pretty good too. The food tasted pretty flavorful overall, but yeah it also depends on personal preference. You can always ask for spicy sauce or even fresh chilis.

Yup you can order multiple appetizers, main entrees or desserts without paying extra. The only exception is lobster which costs $17 extra each additional tail. Thanks for the question! 🙂

Caribbean night beat Mexican night IMO. 🤣. That jerk chicken and pork chop looked delicious and the side dishes were very nice too. I’m with Joann about bell pepper. It overwhelms most dishes for me. The tofu “tacos” made me laugh out loud. What the heck??? As always, the desserts looked yummy. Especially the coconut cake. Thanks for posting!

Every meal from the MDR was cold. It was so bad we stopped going. Only on the formal night was the food cooked like it should be. The buffet again had food that was cold and the dessert section was pitifully pathetic. I have been sailing since my 20’s and I would not sail with Princess again. Back to Celebrity for me.

They should be ashamed to call that “Mexican night”. That’ll be a MDR skip night for me. I see they’ve gone back to having the wait staff wear “theme” clothing & dancing thru the dining room again. For me, that’s a step backwards. In this day & age I just find that cringey.
