Great video! Lots of good info. My husband and I have a rule of thumb for cruising. 5 nights or less, we get an interior cabin and splurge on the drink package. Anything 5 days or more, we skip the drink package and upgrade our cabin. We tend to get burnt out from trying to get our money’s worth after so many days.

My siblings and I are cruising on Enchantment in May of 2025 so I very much appreciate this review. Some have complained about this ship, but overall it sounds like it will be fine. I got the Junior Suite and the top drink package. My brother and I will make out fine in this regard. 😁

@@edwardmarquis4411 it'll be fine you'll greatly enjoy it. The truth is it's just a little slower pace ship doesn't have all the giant water slides in crazy game rooms but it has everything you need to enjoy yourself

I went on a cruise and looked into the alcohol package also. Not only was it pretty expensive per day, I would have had to pay for the first day I boarded and the last day also. It was way more affordable to just have a couple drinks a day and not feel like I needed to get hammered everyday to make the most of the cost of the package.

If you don't drink alcohol, you can contact RC and tell them that 1 of you in cabin doesn't drink. Then they will probablylet the non-drinker to get a soda package.

We talk to guest services and they said that both people have to pay but if one person doesn't drink then you can get the soda package and the coffee package but you still pay full price for both of you to have the drink package

Unfortunately if you're sharing the same cabin and both are age 21 or over, the non-drinker has to get the full package as well as the drinker.

We just came back from a cruise on this ship. I would not recommend it. Yes, the ship is old and needs to be retired. The solarium says 18+ but there were definitely kids in there. The solarium pizza was our absolute favorite. The windjammer was mediocre. Main dining room was good. 2 pools & 4 hot tubs.. which we did not go in because it’s to crowded. If you’re interested in ports more-so than the ship then okay. We were very disappointed In Belize- no beaches at port. Staff are always amazing, go above and beyond. We didn’t have any options for creamer.. just half & half. Again, of you want the ports then go for it. I wouldn’t personally recommend the ship.

@@jenniferfootman3700 it's important not to try to compare this ship to top class ships that are coming out now it's completely different. As far as the creamer all you'd have to do is mention something to the staff and they would gladly go get it and bring it to your table. We saw zero kids in the solarium unless it was after 7:00 p.m. which they were allowed in there to go get pizza etc or sit down to play games with their parents. Everybody's going to have different looks on what they think but it's important to understand price for price you're paying half as much and comparing it to double as much of a ship.

@@WealthandTravelonaDime I have only ever traveled on the older ship’s specifically because we did not want to go bigger. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, experiences. I asked for creamer and wasn’t available. My personal experience is my own. If others experienced better, I am happy for them. Just wasn’t my top 3.
