Royal Caribbean junior suite perks don't include everything in a full suite, but there are still some great enhancements to your cruise. Bill talks about what exactly those perks are. Thx. Just booked 2 RCCL cruises in junior suites by myself during extended double-points promotion. Which means I will have earned 66 Crown & Anchor points for a 6 and 5-night cruise. Which brings me to Diamond level. And that never would have happened otherwise. I would have died of old age before reaching it.

We booked a two bedroom suite two years ago for my 50th and we were *Queen $**#it**'s of the Ship* LOL I was thinking of a junior suite for my sister's 50th next year, there will only be three of us this time, but you made the decision for me, I'll get the Grand Suite because there's nothing like being *Queen $**#it**'s of the Ship*

As someone who is a senior with some mobility issues, I can’t get in/out of a bathtub w/o being concerned w falling & injuring myself. I prefer a walk-in shower for my safety.

For the price point the Jr Suite on the Freedom Class does what it needs for me, early embarkation, early disembarkation, and the larger room. Also double points does not hurt either. Liberty in December 2023, cannot wait,.

My mom & I have stayed in a Junior Suite on Oasis almost 2 years ago & because we had my time dining we did not get to have dinner @ the coastal kitchen for dinner because we did not know that we would have to go to coastal kitchen to schedule our dining because we chose my time dining so we went to guest services and told them that & they were able to schedule dinner for us to eat @ the coastal kitchen 2nights of a 7Nights cruise. Since Oasis was in Port Canaveral when we went on our cruise & stayed in a Junior Suite we got priority boarding & departure.

I tend to always book a junior suite. The room is a little wider than a balcony. Walk in closet larger bathroom and double points.

Just fyi RBC has added a “Sky Junior Suite” which offers all perks the Grand suite just a slightly smaller room. This may just be on Quantum Class ships but we just booked for September and we have all the same perks we had for our Grand suite including all access to Coastal Kitchen as well as access to suite lounge and concierge. Check to see if this available in US.

I have booked Jr. suites because i do love the extra space and the tub/shower combo. Like you Im a big girl and plus it more comfortable. Bit im going to do some solo cruising in the Jr. How many points per night will i receive? Love the vid ❤

Absolutely. That is typically missing from even a larger Grand Suite, at least on the ships I've sailed.

Ovation of the Seas also has a large shower second sink and detached toilet for their Junior Suites except for Junior Suites with a large balcony, those only have a bathtub and toilet in that bathroom.

For the Cruise I am looking at for 2025, the price difference between a Balcony cabin and a Junior suite is $60. So I guess even for the priority boarding it is worth it.

I just finished a cruise on the Allure with a jr suite and I didn’t receive priority boarding or was offered to sit in a suite lounge. Had to board just like everyone else.

Incorrect regarding Coastal kitchen JR Suites across the fleet now have access to Coastal kitchen. Was just informed this evening when Booking my next Jr. suite on symphony.

We just booked a Jr suite on Enchantment for next February. We are Diamond ++ almost Pinacle, we still get to use the Concierge Lounge because of our status or the Diamond Lounge. Since we have 7 Months till that cruise, I am hoping to be upgraded to Grand suite by then. That’s what we are used to , just had the Owners Suite in March on same ship and have had the Grand suite 8 times and the Royal Suite on the Granduer of the Seas while she was in Baltimore for a nice long time. She was my favorite ship, but Enchantment is almost identical except none of the crew members recognized us especially our Concierge Francis who we miss terribly when they took our Granduer away.

Jr. Suites on Empress of the Seas does not have a bath tub. It's basically like a balcony on any other ship.

Thanks for the video. I booked junior suites specifically for the priority boarding especially out of Galveston. Galveston is a horrible port. Ugh. I always carry my luggage for disembarkation and I leave depending on the time of my flight.

Booked in a Junior Suite on Ovation in September to Hawaii and was surprised that it didn’t come with all the suite benefits. If it doesn’t come with all the suite perks then don’t call it a suite. RCCL’s three levels of suite perks is a bit much.

When we booked we were offered double points just for booking, in addition, we get double points for the Junior suite. It's a 7 day cruise, how many points are we getting?

I would confirm with the cruise line, but my understanding is that you would get three points per night.

We made the mistake of booking a Grand Suite last cruise, now we are spoild- We also go in on the double cruise points by booking during the pandemic so we finally made it to Diamond. Now we are trying to decide, Jr. Grand or Balcony or give Celebrity a try?

So I cannot comment intelligently about Celebrity-- the only time I sailed them was 17 years ago to Alaska on a very different kind of cruise. I was also about 30 and childless at the time, and I did not feel like I was the core demographic they were going for. It was also, and I cannot stress this enough, a very long time ago. For Royal, I pretty much always pay for at least the Grand Suite. I happen to value short lines when I need help with something as well as a quiet place to go, and the Suite Lounge helps immensely with that. If all you need is the personal space, though, the junior suite is a great option. Happy sailing!

@@DineDrinkTravel Thank you. We are in our early 60s and will not be taking any kids with us. The itinerary we prefer is on a Mega ship or Celebrity for the time we want to go. We have been looking at Cruises but are a little confused, where food options are concerned if you are in a suite/junior suite are room service and other restaurants etc complimentary? or do you need a dining package? as we just watched someone on KZbin on a cruise and they were in I think a "Star Suite" and said all was complimentary. Sorry it took me so long to answer this! That depends on the cruise line. It sounds like you were watching a video about Royal Caribbean. Free room service is one of the perks they give to people in suites.
