Yes, day 1 you need to go to seaplex to book all activities, such as kpop dance, basket ball competition, football competition, yoga, ping pong table, xbox, foosball game. Bumper car you can book through royal apps. Day 1 you can book for the 5 days activities I think. I went on day 2 and all activities are gone, only left foosball and xbox for an hour. This is indoor hall so the number of participants are strictly limited. I heard if they were being caught if the numbers are too many, the ship will have to stop for sailing for a while. The social distancing ambassadors are there to make sure RC is following rules. Gym is also very popular in RC ship, so make sure you also book gym if you like working out. I went day 2 and no more booking for all the 5 days. Rock Climbing and Flowrider, you have to queue on the line. If you intend to go up with the North Star, please make booking through Royal apps on day 1 for the good timing, else all the timing will be gone also. Dont wait. You will be surprised there are many people doing all the charged and complementary activities. RC guests seem very active and love to participate in the activities as compared to Dream guests. Dream guests are quite passive. Even the running track, you will be shocked to see so many runners early in the morning before sunrise. For Dream cruise, I didn't meet a single runner during my 2 times sailing with Dream. LOL. Oh yes, if you can grab the unlimited dining promotion, you can consider it too, if you love fine dining. It is cheap. I have 7 fine dinings and only cost about SGD150 dollars. 4 specialty restaurants serving very nice food and cuisine where you can choose anything from the menu and eat till you are full. The food are different from the complimentary restaurants. The cost for one meal in specialty restaurant is -about 70-80 for one meal if you didnt get the package promo. So if you have 7 meals, is very worth it. I hope you enjoy your cruise, do let me know if you need further information so I can try to help.

In summary, for bumper car (free), ifly (charged), North Star (charged), you can book through Royal apps. Other activities in seaplex, kpop dance and ping pong table, yoga, etc - go to counter. (you need ask staff in counter what they have during your sailing), you go to counter and book on day 1. Don't be late, else no slots.

@@punitakhanna9946 The ART test took about half an hour to an hour, you have to see your timing for the ART test on that day. You can go a little early on the appointment time and queue there. Thanks for your question. 1. North Star operates till 7pm if I am not mistaken. Some people may want to go in the evening 6-7pm because they want to see the sunset but please remember it is dinner time also. It is really up to you. Anyway, the ride is about 10 mins only. It gives you a different perspective. What I can suggest to you is immediately book the timing you want once you are onboard. I didn't do it immediately on day one so no more slots left except 12pm noon. Still, the view is quite stunning because you get to see the whole ship from very high up. 2. I think you can just leave your kid in the Adventure ocean, I am not too sure. You just go and make an appointment first. Solarium is only for adult, no booking is needed. There are many glass canopy pools, the wait arent too long as compare to the indoor and outdoor pool. I hope I have answered your question. Enjoy your crusing and have fun.

@@traveldestination4243 If you are English educated background and more westernize, then may be you can go for Royal Caribbean. If you only know Chinese and love Chinese food and usual nasi lemak for your breakfast, then you can choose Dream. One thing I don't like about Royal Caribbean is they are not as organized as Dream cruise. For example, Dream cruise allow guests to book for the pool in advance and swimming time is one hour. Whereas RC don't allow booking, you need stand there under hot sun to get in the pool, wasted a lot of time in waiting on the line to get in the pool. I q for almost half an hour more then get in the pool for just 10min, after 10 min, they asked the whole batch the come up. Furthermore, the life guard still called out the timing ....2 more min left. Wtf... this is not a competition, man. I can't relax in this manner. But then Royal has very nice music entertainment. The musicians are great, pianists, guitarists, violinists and drummer and many more. Dream cruise music appreciation is more limited, only the Dazzle Trio who sings local Chinese, malay, hokkien, cantonese or Malay songs. Suit for local uncles and aunties. @@traveldestination4243 Well, for me I prefer Dream activities, simply because they are more organized. Pool and Jaccuzzi can be booked one day ahead for an hour time, so you don't waste time waiting on line. You can plan your activities better, not just stand and stand and wait. Dream has the Zipline and RC has the Flowrider (free), Zipline - about 10 ppl can go up at one time but Flowrider only has 2 person at one time, the wait is long. Dream has mini golf and big chest game and ping pong outdoor for guests and there is a huge basketball court outdoor for people to play basketball and other games. RC do has a seaplex for bumper car at night and day time for the activities they conducted such as basketball competition or kpop dance but you are not allowed to walk in without permission because the court is indoor, has constraint. Dream basketball is outdoor so they can conduct some activities at one corner and guys can still play basketball at other corner. I don't think they have disco or dance for both Dream and RC due to covid, may be. I am not sure. For entertainment, I like RC, they have a lot of professional musician who play different instruction, conducted in a small area such as Balero club or Music hall, you get to see them upclose. Such live drummer, pianist, violinist, guitarist and they are really good, coming from Mexico, Philippines and Russia or other countries. Dream only has the Dazzle trio singing the local songs and they don't really play instrument, except one guy who play piano and the 2 ladies sing some Chinese, hokkein or Cantonese Malay songs. The audience are all the uncles and aunties. For RC the smaller group music appreciation, audience are young to old and they only conducted in English, very westernized. Food choice RC don't have much choice for Chinese or Singapore local as compared to Dream but their pastries and cakes are top class standard. Dream pastries aren't as good compare to RC. But dream has nasi lemak and other noodles or many local cuisines. Dream usually has a theme- I went twice, in Dec, they have Xmas theme and then in April 2021, they have Thai Theme, so many activities are related to Thais, such as water festival, Thai cha cha. You also find Thai food beside all the local food. RC has many things that you need to pay extra, such as ifly and North star and movie on your TV room. There is very limited tv shows in your room, you need to purchase then you can watch. Dream has a lot of shows to watch. If you choose RC, please remember to go to Seaplex to book in Day 1, they allow guest to book the activities for 5days in a row. So if you are late, then no more activities for you. Dream don't allow people to book activities in a row, you can only book on the day itself and next day, not the following day. So there are more chances for everyone. RC guests are very active and sporty as compare to Dream. Dream guests are more shy and not as sporty. Many uncles and aunties play majong at the majong tables and if you go early to those activities, sure there is a space for you. And yes, Dream drink package is very worth it. If you are drinking, you can consider. If you ask me which one I will go again, I have to say Dream. :) I hope my answer gives you some insight. Well this is only my personal opinion. All shipboard photo products and services can be either purchased pre-cruise with a discount or onboard for full price. I checked on someone's blog dated before pandemic 2019, it said that she bought all-inclusive digital package which was selling at USD199. That's only a rough estimation because it also depends on how many days you are sailing. If you are considering getting the package, please sign up for the newsletter and get the big promotion before onboard. Also, there are few types of packages to choose from. She has many photos taken and it worked out as USD0.60 per photo, including the photo taken in ifly. I didn't get the packages so I can't tell you in detail. But one plus point with the photographs package is you get to access the front part of the ship (Bowsprit) which is not allowed to enter by guests without photo package. Only guests with photograph package, they can book the appointment with photographers to shoot pictures there. You can view it from the Solarium window.
