Why would you want to remove the centre stand?? They're an excellent maintenance aid, best way to shred weight on these is to replace the cans, aftermarket ones are half the weight and bulk of the originals with the bonus of sounding even meatier, as for high speed cruising like you touched on, fit decent tyres and a good screen, job done 🙂😁😊

Yes, excellent point about the centre stand 👍 my friend replaced the cans on his Continental and it cut the weight down quite a bit!

At aproximatly 1:52 you describe the engine as an inline twin. Is it not in fact a parrallel twin?

Nice video Kaz. Sound quality when you’re talking is clear. Instead of removing the centre stand to save weight, fit some Hitchcock shorty exhaust instead. sea Stuart Fillinghams channel. They are lighter and louder. I personally don’t mind the OEM ones on my 2022. I don’t mind the OEM Seat tyres either. The GT you rode may not have had the right tyre pressures. Shiny side up.

@@BikerKazZ Hi Kaz. Yes love my Interceptor. The one thing I would of liked is a gear indicator. My last bike was a Honda Blackbird where you didn’t need to swap cogs so much. I’m getting used to the Enfield now so find I know what gear I’m in. I also have an old 650 Matchless which is a similar weight & power. It rides as well but you have to remember to brake long before you need too.

I have had no issues with the Seat tyres on my Scram, which I have owned since June 2022.
