The natural gearing of the Royal Enfield Himalayan doesn't 100% suit Australian conditions. On the highway where you might want to do 100 km/h or 110 km/h, the revs of the motorcycle will be quite high with the OEM Royal Enfield gearing. For a reasonable price you can change the sprocket on the front of the bike allowing the bike to do about 500rpm lower in the highway than standard. The process of changing out the sprocket is quite easy and will take 1/2 to 1 hour for the average DIY enthusiast with basic mechanical knowledge.
You will only need basic hand tools but having a 30mm socket, rattle gun with low torque, 8mm and 12mm spanners or a shifter will be helpful.
Here is a link to the sprocket. If you use this link it helps support my channel. Thanks
