This is a superb motorcycle in almost every way possible. The only thing I really don't like about interceptor 650 is it's protruding, upswept silencers... They look really weird, atleast to me! I would love to have normal, straight silencers installed in them. That are not protruding outside unnecessarily.

Frankly i don't see why so many Indians are emotionally attached and romanticize RE? Although it is owned by an Indian company, it is nothing more than a British motorcycle at heart and mind. RE has design and R&D teams in UK, while only having manufacturing in India, just like any other smart global automotive brand for the sake of cheap labour. RE seems to prioritize international sales over local sales to the point of making Indians wait 4-5 months while providing immediate delivery in the EU and the US, exactly the same way any other global MNCs treat Indians and Africans as second tier humans. I hear from my friends(Indians) in the US, that the quality of paint and fitment of the motorcycles is also significantly better in the US than in India, which means export QC is better than what we have for Indian market. Considering all this, I would rather spend my hard earned money on a Japanese brand like Honda, with significant technologically superior engine, than over a romanticized fake British motorcycle with a name sake British badge.

Hi Faisal I took delivery of my intercepter on 27 th jan this year! The moment I finished my first out of Mumbai ride in feb which was to Igatpuri and back I bought a touring seat! 😂The bike is beautiful but my god the stock seat is horrible for rides beyond 50 mins max. Your back and glutes will start cramping big time! So far I have done around 1650 kms but i mostly commute only in the city. Iv kept the stock seat as a spare now 😂As iv gotten used to the touring seat even for city rides! You were also bang on about maneuvering sharp turns at high speeds. A lil caution has to be Exercised! However apart from these two glitches - No Complaints! 👍
