Incredible review WM, got to say your production value is outstanding. That duffle bag is very tempting! Thanks for uploading.

Bag looks awesome!!! Use the same Panasonic camera!!! 😁 Your large waterproof liner looks like a perfect match for when I order the bag .....is there a separate link for the liner you show? Cheers....another great vid!

Great camera isn’t it. The dry bag is an 80L bag from Mountain Warehouse. It’s a bit on the big side works well.

I have this bag. The bag itself is great - good quality and roomy (I have another 50L bag - the trip machine bag is not 50L!) I found the attachment straps to be not sufficient to secure the bag firmly- I had to use bungees/roc straps. I also found the handle quite fiddly. I must have received a faulty rain cover because NO WAY would it fit over the bag (man, I tried!) Overall a good bag but the attachment system and rain cover are rubbish - not what you’d expect especially at this price!

I got lucky in that the standard attachments fit really well with the Hepco and Becker pannier frames I have installed. I can see it being a bit of a pain without these. Unfortunately it’s quite common with universal luggage. If you have a decent leather worker near you, you could get some custom straps made for your set up. I also like the elastic Rok straps for lashing things down.

I'm still researching on these RE bikes. Your touring setup is definitely my go to. I'm a bit worried about the saddlebags. If my gear or clothes are too heavy and makes the bags sag and in risk of burning from the exhaust.

As long as you get the medium sized bags from Hepco, there is plenty of clearance. Because the back of the bag is ridged, they can only sag so much.

@@WildlifeMoto Thank you for the reply! I'm really wanting this bike for commute and weekend road trips through the back roads. For photography trips. This bike seems perfect, maybe I just need to care and clean for it a bit more than other bikes.

Since a friend talked me about the interceptor im really sick of it, in a good way LoL Really like your videos, i watched all of them, and really stunned how you turned the R.E. into. You said often that you'd take not too long trips with this bike, you know i would like to travel a lil bit more, im not into big bmw's or adventure bikes, mainly for the price (damn money XD), and also 'cause off raods or jumps over sand dunes it's not my dream; so i would prefer old style moto, travelling mainly on side roads then highway when it's possible. Obviously with this sort of bikes you have no protection from wind, but it's also the real driving expierence from my point of view. Ridin' 5 or 6 hours per day with some stops during the way would you think it's still a good choice to jump on the R.E. ? i'll add some of your mods for making it safer and confortable, this would help me for sure. thanks for sharing tips and products, and keep it up cause you got style and your content is really really good, greetings from Sicily !

Hi Tobias, glad to hear you are enjoying the videos. For slower paced solo touring I think the Interceptor is great. It's only downfall would be if you were going pan euro with lots of fast motorways. For everything else, it's perfectly good.

Just be aware that Trip Machine stuff is shipped from India, net of UK import duties. I don't know of a UK outlet. When it lands in the UK you get a bill from DHL for about 25% of the price, to pay online before they'll deliver. So your £259 bag becomes £300+. Great products but pricey when you include all taxes etc.

I know companies like Urban Rider and Bike Shed sell Trip Machine gear here in the U.K.

Hi, I love the jacket you are wearing in this video. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the make and style? PS I love your videos, so specially the ones about your interceptor. After watching them all I had to go out and get myself a ravishing red interceptor. 😂

Hi Simon. Thanks for the feedback, glad you are enjoying the videos. The Jacket is the Belstaff Brooklands (in 10oz wax cotton).

Can it be fitted as a pannier?
@WildlifeMoto

Not really, there are better solutions to use as a pannier.

@@WildlifeMotohello, what do recommend for panniers? What panniers are you using in this video? I'd like something that could fit a 15" laptop and is removable like a messenger bag.

I just use a rucksack! It’s cheaper, weatherproof and more practical. I’m not convinced by the aesthetic either as it looks like a large potato sack to be honest.

Fully loaded I reckon that bag weighs around 12 to 15kg, I wouldn’t want that on my back for long. Rucksacks are great for shorter trips, I have the Kreiga Max 28. If you don’t like the aged leather there are different colours including a plain black.

It's nice, but after-sales support sucks. They didn't send all the information to customs, so I had to pay a lot of tax and extra cost to DHL, plus the bag came with a defect and if I return it I will lose the tax and the DHL + I've to pay the shipping bag. I asked for some compensation and they just played stupid giving evasive replies. I don't recommend it to anyone. They are not a serious company

Be aware of trip machine their after sales in my experience is shamefully poor they talk the talk but let you down with the walk.
