i tested my meteor 350 early morning little traffic average 60km speed i again refuelled after completed ride same petrol bunk 89 rs and its litre is 0.8litre driven kms is 33.4km i tested by full tank also tried in full dry chennai ambatur to kovalam i get 42km

Bro this is only highway mileage. Ideal conditions na you will have to do a full tank method in city as well as highway. My old bs4 classic still gives 40 to 43..i love the meteor

Never ever do milege test by empty tank method. Fuel is being injected. You can Fill full tank and ride for 40 kms and try to fill the tank again. You will get your bike milege. This method in this video seriously damage the FI. My meteor give around 32-38 based on road conditions and riding style.

There are 5 reasons why in Brazil gas prices rise instead of falling together with global oil prices: 1- Brazil produces a good part of its oil: it does not matter much the outside price on the projects where the agreement is to use internal oil, on those refineries what matters is the production price, not import prices. 2- Ethanol: 27% of Brazilian gas is in fact alcohol (ethanol) refined from sugar cane, and the prices of ethanol are rising sharply as with a stronger USD the suger exports became more profitable, also the climate on the last year capped production while the consumption keeps growing. (Ethanol fuel in Brazil ) 3- Petrobras is on a big crisis - due to the corruption scandal, the economic crisis, the lower oil prices on exports, higher USD against BRL and a HUGE debt (mostly in USD), this forced Petrobras on cutting investments and increasing prices to avoid default on its debts (Petrobras hikes gasoline and diesel prices to help with the company's finances ) 4- Government taxes increase on oil products to recover lower income due to the crisis - Early on 2015 the government brought back the CIDE tax, now taxating gas with: 860.00 BRL per m³, this alone takes 86 cents each gas liter (The Brazilian CIDE: What Is This Tax Contribution and How Is It Charged? ) 5- The crisis itself: Brasil is facing higher inflation (almost 11% on 2015) together with weak BRL compared to USD (25% loss), bigger costs on personal, maintenance and contracts... And several other minor issues that would take forever to put it all together.
